Orford-Fairlee 4th of July Parade

This year, the 4th falls on a Friday. Help decorate The Pastures Campground entry. Watch the whole parade go from Orford, NH across the Samuel Morey Bridge to Fairlee, VT. Campers are encouraged to join us as The Happy Campers Band by walking or riding on our float in the Orford/Fairlee 4th of July Parade. With new entries every year, this parade just gets bigger and better every year!

Later in the evening, free fireworks begin at dark, just across the river at Lake Morey.

12th Annual Gospel Music Night and Ham Dinner

Music festival
August 9—Dinner at 6pm

This annual event involves several area church groups, local performers, and features musical guests from far and wide. Featuring a $3 ham and bean dinner.
Bring a desert or side dish to share. It has more of a "Church Picnic" feel. Organized fun and games prior to dinner include a first ever Pine Wood derby race with cars made earlier in the day by children. The evening will be capped off with Chad and Venessa Peron doing contemporay and origonal Gospel songs and leading in praise and worship, singing.

Annual Pig Roast/Luau

September 20th, dinner at 5:30 PM,
Rain or shine!

Make reservations early and join in an evening of fun, surprises, and live music. The Pastures supplies the roasted pig (roased on the premises, kids) plus baked beans, salad, rolls, drinks, and eating utensils. Campers and guests are encouraged to share their favorite pot luck side dishes and deserts..


Cost: $5.00 / Adult, $2.00 /12 and under.

Musical Guest: The Regulartors Band ( featuring Will Michaels) hot rhytum and blues you'll just have to get up and dance to.

Prevent the tragedy of suicide
August 23rd and 24th—Wells River, Vt to the Pastureson the Connecticut River image

The Pasture is again proud to host the mid-point events and entertainment for this vital fundraising and awareness building event for suicide prevention spearheaded by West Central Behavioral Health/Dartmouth Hitchcock. Canoeist from all over the Upper Valley will be paddling from Wells River to Wilder Dam. All are welcome to the evening festivities including danceable music from The Squids. An amazing Bar-b Que and buffet of all types of food and goodies will be on sale from 5:30PM The Squids will take the stage after 'mid-point' paddlers festivities. Don't miss a lot of fun for a very good cause.

The money you raise through pledges will help save a life. It will allow West Central Behavioral Health to go into schools with prevention programs, dispatch emergency services when an urgent call comes in, and reach out to those who are most vulnerable, most isolated, and most at risk of suicide.
