Now in its seventh year, Orford's RiverJam Concert Series will feature a different line-up of musicians every week, rain or shine, doing acoustic folk, bluegrass, blues, and country. Seating under the pavilion or on the grass in front of the stage. Non-campers are welcome, $2 cover charge. Byron's famous (and famously cheap) popcorn available.

  • Open to the general public for a modest cover charge of $2.00 for adults, $1.00 for children under 12 (Put the money in the Jam Jar!)
2008 RiverJam Concert Dates and Featured Performers:
June 14 Second Wind: a dynamic duo known for their stellar vocals, harmonies, and great guitar work in performances all around these parts.
June 21 The Mudlarks: a skilled quartet performing acoustic folk and bluegrass favorites who we just love having back after year.
June 28 Singer and Jordon: featureing the versatile and ultra talented singer-songwriter, Phil singer along with Laurianne Jordon, this area's queen of harmony, performing tasty origionals.
July 5 Sour Grapes: as exciting to watch as to hear with Larry Ruhl on guitar, harmonica with Ellen Iovino on congas, rhytum tree, with both using tap shoe taps to pound out the beat.
July 12 Loose Cannons Acoustic Band: Randy Budner and the boys are back by popular demand to once again blow you away with blazing guitars and flaming mandolin.
July 19 The Whipple Hill Gang: six bonafide country and blugrass pickers and grinners guaranteed to get your toes tapping.
July 26 Singer and Jordon: return with a little help from friends and a brand new CD to promote.
August 2 The Mudlarks: in case you missed them earlier!
August 9 Gospel Music Night (see Events for more details)
August 16 The ShugarMakers: an amazing acoustic band back by popular demand and with a brand new CD you will want to add to your collection of great music.
August 23 The Squids: once again the band will provide the evening entertainment for the Paddle Power mid-point festivities. (see Paddle Power for more details)
August 30 Bruce Brough and His Big Band: Bruce and the boys will cap off the season doing familiar origionals from his first CD and new material from his current recording project.
